Overview

Role focused on delivering accurate and efficient E&I design services across sectors such as water, power, nuclear, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage. Ensure compliance with BS7671 - 18th Edition and client-specific standards. Produce 2D/3D electrical layouts, cable routing diagrams, and containment drawings. Conduct site surveys and support the construction phase with technical input. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, HVAC, and civil engineers. Continuously seek improvements in design and project delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and efficient E&I design services across sectors such as water, power, nuclear, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage.
  • Ensure compliance with BS7671 - 18th Edition and client-specific standards.
  • Produce 2D/3D electrical layouts, cable routing diagrams, and containment drawings.
  • Conduct site surveys and support the construction phase with technical input.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, process, HVAC, and civil engineers.
  • Continuously seek improvements in design and project delivery processes.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Education: HNC or Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Hands-on design experience in the water utility sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient with IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671 - 18th Edition); Understanding of CDM Regulations 2015; Familiarity with hazardous area design, including intrinsically safe calculations; Capable of developing detailed design deliverables including loop diagrams, cable calculations, and communication network diagrams
  • Software Skills: Microsoft Office suite; Experience with Aveva, Navisworks, and Revit is a plus
