Job Description

Key responsibilities:

• Develop detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for industrial and manufacturing applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed designs.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems on-site as needed.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant electrical standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and project progress.
• Identify opportunities for design improvements and cost-saving measures.
• Supporting group projects with the potential for some travel to different sites.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Electrical Design Engineer should have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in electrical design within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
• Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD or similar tools.
• A strong understanding of electrical standards, codes, and regulations.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and efficient solutions.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with teams and clients effectively.
