RecruitmentPlus on behalf of our client have a brilliant opportunity for burgeoning EHS professionals to join their industry leading and global organisation overseeing a manufacturing facility.
This role will assist in ensuring compliance across ISO standards and regulations and promoting a safety culture, working closely with the EHS Manager.
Requirements- Hold a degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science or related field.
- 1-3 years experience in an EH&S or similar role supporting ISO management systems is desirable.
- Have knowledge of environmental and safety legislation.
- Ability to interpret regulations and support their implementation.
- Excellent Computer skills including Microsoft suite.
- Organised, can problem solve and is an excellent communicator.
- Support the implementation of EH&S policies, procedures, and systems in line with EPA Corporate Governance Framework and company requirements.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with local environmental, health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain EH&S records, documentation and compliance tracking systems.
- Assist in coordinating and participating in EH&S audits and inspections.
- Support the monitoring and follow-up of audit findings, corrective actions, and non-conformances.
- Conduct routine site inspections and report hazards or risks.
- Assist with incident and accident investigations, including data collection, root cause analysis, documentation, track and monitor corrective actions and reporting systems.
- Support the delivery of EH&S training programmes, including inductions, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns and maintain records.
- Promote a positive EH&S culture and safe working behaviours across site.
- Support environmental compliance activities including waste management, emissions monitoring, sustainability initiatives, maintaining ISO standards and identify areas for improvement.
