EHS Advisor Main Contractor Dublin

EHS Advisor - Main Contractor (Dublin) Salary: Up to €65,000 + Package (including Benefits)

Role:

To provide Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) oversight across projects delivered by a leading main contractor in Dublin, ensuring full compliance with applicable legislation, client requirements, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and enforce EHS compliance across all site activities on a range of construction projects.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Review and support preparation of method statements, risk assessments (RAMS), and permit-to-work systems.
• Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety briefings to promote a strong safety culture.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring accurate reporting and corrective action tracking.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and workforce to ensure adherence to EHS procedures and standards.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation, EU directives, and client-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, and reporting systems.
• Support emergency preparedness planning and on-site drills.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years' experience in a construction EHS role, ideally within main contractor or large-scale commercial/residential projects.
• Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment processes and safe systems of work.
• Familiarity with Irish EHS regulations is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
