Education Architect

9B Careers is working with an international architecture firm looking for an experienced Architect to join their schools sector team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-quality educational projects, collaborating directly with schools and contractors, and making a tangible impact on the delivery of projects.

The Role:

• Prepare and modify complex architectural drawings and implementation documents, applying advanced techniques and creative solutions.
• Work directly with schools, contractors, and clients to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Maintain and build strong client and contractor relationships to support ongoing work and future opportunities.
• Collaborate with two experienced colleagues within the sector, ensuring support and integration into existing projects.
• Assist with product research, material selection, and integration of DFE standards and sustainable design practices.
• Prepare client presentations, attend site visits, and participate in project meetings as required.

About You:

• Registered Architect with 5+ years' experience and a proven track record in school projects.
• Strong knowledge of DfE standards and educational design requirements.
• Creative problem-solver who brings innovation and originality to projects.
• Collaborative, professional, and comfortable maintaining client and contractor relationships.
• Looking to contribute to an existing workload while helping the sector grow and develop.
