We are seeking an Editorial and Content Lead to take charge of AKOSI's editorial work and shape the Institute's communications content across digital channels.
This is a hands on role for someone who can turn complex ideas and rich project activity into stories that resonate with diverse audiences, strengthening the Institute's profile within the UAL brand.
You will lead our editorial planning, content production, and priority projects. Working closely with the Institute Director, UAL Communications department academics, partners, and external creatives, you'll shape stories in all forms, from idea to publication and set the publishing pace that will help us share our work more widely and effectively.
About you
You're an experienced editorial professional who knows how to turn complex research and programme activity into content that's clear, accessible and genuinely engaging. You'll have a track record of developing and delivering content plans across multiple channels - social, newsletters, and reports- and an eye for spotting the stories that will resonate with different audiences.
You will also have strong editorial judgement, excellent writing skills, and a collaborative approach to working with academics, partners and internal teams.
Strong project management skills are essential along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, resources and timelines effectively. You'll also have strong stakeholder engagement skills, coordinating external designers, writers or filmmakers and overseeing the production of outputs from idea to publication.
