Choice Teachers is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and qualified secondary teachers for schools across Wirral, Warrington, Cheshire and the surrounding areas ahead of the September 2026 academic year.

Many of our ECTs secure permanent teaching positions after impressing schools through supply work, making it an excellent route into your first teaching role.
We are recruiting teachers in all secondary subjects, including:- Maths

- Health & Social Care
- Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)

As a Secondary Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
- Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
- Adapt confidently to different schools and classrooms
- Build positive relationships with students and staff
- Choose assignments that suit your availability
We offer:

- Potential routes into permanent teaching positions
Some longer-term placements may also contribute towards your ECT induction, depending on the school.
We're looking for teachers who:- Hold a PGCE with QTS or QTLS (or are due to achieve Qualified Teacher Status before September 2026)
- Are passionate about making a positive impact in secondary education
- Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Are enthusiastic, flexible and reliable
- Have high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE with QTS/QTLS)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
- Two professional references
