We are recruiting an ECT to take on a Year 2 class in a friendly Gateshead primary school. This is a brilliant opportunity within Teaching jobs in Gateshead for someone ready to begin their teaching journey.
About the role:You'll be leading a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through a key stage in their development.
Your responsibilities:- Delivering engaging phonics, reading, writing, and maths lessons
- Supporting pupils towards end-of-key-stage expectations
- Creating a positive, structured classroom environment
- Building confidence in your teaching practice
- Dedicated mentor
- Regular feedback and development opportunities
- Collaborative planning support
- A strong, experienced KS1 team
- Full-time
- 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
