This Hospital based in the North West, close to both Liverpool and Chester, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced and supportive team, focusing on inpatient care and emergency cases within a busy ECC service.
The RoleThis is a dynamic position with a medically focused caseload, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference to patients in critical need. From performing emergency procedures to coordinating care with our skilled veterinary team, you'll play a central role in ensuring every inpatient receives the highest standard of care.
Ideal Candidate- Have excellent technical and clinical capability, ideally with ECC experience or a strong interest in developing this area
- Thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Be a team player who enjoys collaboration and communication with colleagues
- Demonstrate empathy and strong communication skills with clients, particularly in sensitive or stressful situations
- Be organised, open, honest, and committed to delivering exceptional care
- 40 hours per week
- 2 x 12 hour shifts (07:00-19:00)
- 2 x 7 hour shifts (07:00-13:00 or 14:00-21:00)
- 2:9 Weekend Rota
- No overnight out of hours
- 6 weeks annual leave (including bank holidays)
