Early Years Teaching Assistant

EYFS & Reception Teaching Assistant - Full & Part Time Opportunities September Start

Teach South Sussex is currently recruiting enthusiastic and caring EYFS & Reception Teaching Assistants to support a number of welcoming primary schools across Brighton and Peacehaven from September.

We have both full-time and part-time positions available, working on a 1:1 basis with children who are joining Reception from nursery. These roles focus on helping young learners settle into school life, build confidence, develop positive relationships, and support their social, emotional and early learning needs during this important transition.

This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are passionate about making a positive difference during the early stages of their education.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with children, ideally within an EYFS, nursery or primary school setting.
• Be patient, nurturing and able to build positive relationships with young children.
• Be confident supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Be available to work from September on either a full-time or part-time basis.
