Welcome to our nursery in Adel. Our purpose-built, single-story nursery with a sizeable outdoor area is designed to cater for young children's needs with features that actively encourage child development. Because we believe children learn best through play, all resources are freely available at child height, encouraging independent play and self-choice.

Early Years Room Leader - Toddler Room 38 hours per week 4 days per week

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Early Years Room Leader to lead our thriving Toddler Room. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated early years professional who is committed to delivering outstanding care and education in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

About the Role

As Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Toddler Room, ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding. You will lead and inspire a small team, create engaging learning experiences, and build strong partnerships with parents and carers.

This position is 38 hours per week, worked across 4 days, offering an excellent work-life balance.

Shift Pattern 8am-6pm

Days negotiable

Full-time / Part-time available

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and support the toddler room team
  • Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensure high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing
  • Monitor and support children's development through observations and assessments
  • Build positive and professional relationships with parents and carers
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working within an Early Years setting
  • Experience in a leadership or senior practitioner role (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's development
