We are working with a nursery school in Wolverhampton that is seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join their supportive team of Teaching Assistants and Class Teachers, delivering high-quality EYFS provision. The school is rated GOOD by Ofsted and offers a welcoming environment with a strong focus on the EYFS framework, Reception readiness, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Collaboration between TAs and Class Teachers is central to the school's approach and success.
The role involves supporting children on a 1:1 basis, as well as assisting during group activities, continuous provision, and indoor play sessions. The school is looking for someone with experience working with nursery aged children, including those with additional or attentional needs.
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 3:45pm, and is expected to run until the end of the summer term in July.

Job role- Support delivery of high quality EYFS provision in line with the National Curriculum.
- Work within a supportive Primary School environment focused on Reception and early learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with TA colleagues to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Support the Class Teacher in planning, assessment and day to day classroom routines.
- Provide care and learning support within nursery and 2 year old provision settings.
- Promote safeguarding, behaviour support and positive early years development.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- At least one Level 3 qualified practitioner must usually be present in each room/age group.
- At least 50% of remaining staff must hold a full and relevant Level 2 qualification.
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner or Level 3 Early Years Educator.
- Cache/NVQ childcare qualifications.
- Certain degrees in Early Childhood Studies.
- Previous UK school experience is essential.
- Strong understanding of EYFS, Reception and Key Stage 1 (KS1) frameworks.
- Knowledge of Key Stage 2 (KS2) transition support beneficial.
- Experience working in nursery or early years settings as a Nursery Practitioner.
- Ability to support inclusive learning within a Primary School environment.
- £92.56 to £100 a day which equates to £18,049 to £19,500 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
