Monarch Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in the Worksop (S80) area, who are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner, Level 3 Teaching Assistant, or HLTA to join their Early Years team.
About the RoleThis is a rewarding opportunity to support children in their crucial early stages of learning. You will work closely with class teachers and EYFS staff to provide a safe, engaging and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities- Supporting learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Delivering small group or whole class activities (HLTA responsibilities where applicable)
- Creating a warm, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting children's social, emotional and behavioural development
- Observing, recording and contributing to assessments of pupil progress
- Building strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or HLTA status
- Experience working in an EYFS setting
- A caring, patient and positive approach
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning
- Good behaviour and emotional regulation support skills
- A genuine passion for helping young children thrive
