Early Years Educator- Breakfast Club and ECCE sessional

Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare is looking for an Early Years Educator to join the team this coming August/September 2026, based in Rush, Co. Dublin.

We are offering a part time position of 25 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 7.15am - 12.15pm daily.

This role will be based within our Rush service working with after school children aged 4-12 years for Breakfast club until 9 am and then preschool children from 2 years and 8 months until 12.15pm.

Salary - Competitive and based on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• To assist in the education and care of after school children for Breakfast Club and drop off to school.
• To assist in the education of 22 sessional children. There will always be a minimum of two adults on site.
• Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care.
• To provide the children in Breakfast Club with a healthy nutritious breakfast before dropping them off to school across the road.
• To work with the team on the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.
• To assist with inspections as they arise.
• To be the deputy for the designated managerial classroom roles, such as First aid officer, Mandated person etc and be the point of contact for the school.
• (The person in charge and owner will be on hand to support as required).

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum Fetac Level 5 - Supervision in Childcare/Early Childhood Care and Education.
• A good understanding of all relative guidelines and regulations under Aistear, Siolta and the Childcare Regulations.
• HACCP, FAR First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection (all desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a similar role desirable.
