Early Years Educator- Breakfast Club

Little Scholars Montessori & Childcare is looking for an Early Years Educator to join the team this coming August/September 2026, based in Rush, Co. Dublin.

We are offering a part time position of 7.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 7.30pm-9.00am daily.

This role will be based within our Rush service working with Afterschool children aged 4-12 years for Breakfast Club until 9 am.

Salary - Competitive and based on experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in the education and care of Afterschool children for Breakfast Club and drop off to school. There will always be a minimum of two adults on site.
• Ensure the safety, security and well being of all children in your care.
• Provide the children in Breakfast Club with a healthy nutritious breakfast before dropping them off to school across the road.
• Work with the team on the structure of the classroom daily routine and functionality.

The ideal candidate will have

• Minimum Fetac Level 5 - Supervision in Childcare/Early Childhood Care and Education.
• A good understanding of all relative guidelines and regulations under Aistear, Siolta and the Childcare Regulations.
• HACCP, FAR First Aid, Manual Handling and Child protection (all desirable but not essential).
• Experience in a similar role desirable.
