Early Careers Teacher

Graduating as an Early Career Teacher (ECT) this summer? Take the first step in your teaching career with support, flexibility, and real choice.
Flourish Education is recruiting passionate and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our growing agency, working across Worcestershire. Whether you're ready to step into your own classroom or want to build your confidence first, we'll help you find the right path.
Not sure if you want a full-time role straight away? That's completely normal. Many ECTs want to experience different schools before committing, and that's exactly what we offer. You can gain valuable classroom experience, explore different environments, and even work as a Teaching Assistant before qualifying, setting you up for success in your ECT year from September 2026.
As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with Flourish Education, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons aligned with school teaching strategies
- Work closely with support staff to meet the needs of all pupils
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Provide feedback in line with school policies
- Establish clear expectations for behaviour and learning
You'll have opportunities to teach across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, giving you a broad and valuable range of experience. We can also support you in securing your first permanent teaching role when you're ready.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (including placements)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- A positive, committed, and flexible approach
- A recent UK school reference
Why Choose Flourish Education?
We understand how important flexibility and support are at the start of your career. That is why we offer:
- Work that fits around your availability with no pressure to accept roles
- Opportunities to gain experience in a range of schools before committing to a permanent position
Plus, you'll benefit from:
- Competitive daily rates - up to £145 per day (£95 as a Teaching Assistant)
- Holiday pay (12.07% accrued for PAYE candidates)
- Pension contributions
- Free KCSIE-compliant safeguarding and Prevent Duty training
- Refer a friend bonus scheme
- Regular contact and support throughout your journey
We work with a wide range of schools across Worcester, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, and Evesham, many with onsite parking and supportive teams.
If you're ready to start your teaching career the right way, with support, flexibility, and real opportunities, apply now or call us. We'd love to help you find your perfect role.
