Position Opening

Eden Prairie Schools is seeking Eagle Zone Special Education Paraprofessionals to assist in the implementation and delivery of the summer Eagle Zone school age care program, and in the support of out of school time programming at the site level in accordance with quality assessment tools. Position Details
  • Location: Cedar Ridge Elementary Eden Lake Elementary, Forest Hills Elementary
  • Classification: MSEA Level III
  • Rate of Pay: $22.81/hour
  • Hours per Day: 6 8 hour shifts, length varies day to day
  • Start & End Time: program operates 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM; schedule is flexible but must meet programming needs
  • Position Dates:
    • Training: June 11 and June 12, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM
    • Program: Monday-Friday from June 15, 2026 through August 27, 2026
    • Closed on: June 19 and July 3
    • Must work through August 27, 2026 (no pre scheduled vacations)
  • Paid Holidays: N/A
Qualifications
  • Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent. First Aid and CPR certification preferred; all staff will receive training if not certified.
  • Experience:
    • Two years of experience working with children, planning, organizing, and promoting programs, preferred.
    • Experience working with volunteers, preferred.
    • One year successful experience working with elementary aged children in a childcare or education setting, preferred.
