Main Purpose of Job

Our crime team is expanding, and we are looking to recruit duty solicitors to work within our Liverpool, Cheshire and Birmingham offices. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our crime department in the provision of advice to the firm's clients, both fee paying and publicly funded, and undertaking duty on the Liverpool, Birmingham and Halton/Cheshire duty rota schemes. The candidate will ideally have a client base, but this is not essential. The candidate should also aim for LAA Supervisor status, if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to fee paying and publicly funded clients.
• Perform duty work on the Liverpool, Birmingham and Halton/Cheshire duty rota schemes.
• Build and maintain a client base (ideally).
• Pursue LAA Supervisor status where appropriate.
