Location: Happy Town, Newtownards
Hours: Full-Time (including weekends & flexible shifts)

Role Overview

As Duty Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the soft play centre during your shift. You'll be a hands-on leader, ensuring exceptional customer service, staff coordination, and health & safety standards are maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the senior point of contact during your shift, taking full operational responsibility for the centre.
  • Lead, motivate, and support team members, ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness.
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment for all visitors and staff.
  • Handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Oversee daily checklists, rotas, and staff breaks to ensure smooth shift management.
  • Assist with hosting parties, events, and group bookings.
  • Carry out opening and closing procedures including cash handling and till reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety, safeguarding, and hygiene regulations.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a customer-facing or hospitality environment (experience in a soft play or leisure setting is a bonus).
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident in leading a team.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
