Job role notes- Salary: £27,975 per annum (increasing to £29,808 per annum pending pay award on 1 April)
- Hours: Full Time - 37 Hours Per Week
- Location: Inspire: Luton Sports Village
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Inspire: Luton Sports Village. As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day to day running of our leisure centre, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and delivering a high standard of service to all our users.
Desirable- Experience working in a leisure centre or similar environment.
- Hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to a leisure setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to work a flexible rota, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Lead and supervise the operational team during your shift, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all customers.
- Take responsibility for the facility, including opening/closing, staff supervision, and emergency procedures.
- Ensure all activities run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond effectively to incidents, customer feedback, and any operational issues.
- Support the wider team with administrative tasks and contribute to continuous improvement across the site.
