We're looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our luxury hotel situated in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

The Role

As a Duty Manager, you will lead the front office team on shift. You will need to:
  • Display an approachable and caring manner and thrive on interacting with people at all levels.
  • Train and assist other Front Office employees and ensure all tasks are completed correctly and on time.
  • Take responsibility for resolving any requests and queries our guests might have to their maximum satisfaction.
  • Promote the hotel, its bars and restaurants and all the hotel services.
  • Complete all Front Office administration tasks with accuracy and on time.
  • Take reservations in the absence of the reservations team.
  • Liaise with all departments and communicate effectively with other teams and assist when necessary.

The Person

An ideal candidate is a person with a clear passion for service. You engage with guests easily and you are able to use your intuition and creativity to deliver a wonderful experience for everyone. The ability to multitask and prioritise is important, as well as the ability to work well under pressure with a broad smile. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, produce quality work and be flexible to work shifts. Experience within a similar environment is preferable, however, we look for attitude, quality and interpersonal skills rather than experience as we will give you the tools to ensure you are successful in your role. Flexibility is required as shifts might vary as per business requirements.

The Hotel

Situated in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, with 228 bedrooms, including 11 suites, this period building has been beautifully restored to its former glory in a luxurious design to offer the ultimate in relaxation.

The hotel's rooms and suites exude elegance. Guests can enjoy a traditional Afternoon Tea in Botanica, with its sophisticated atrium setting, or unwind with a late-night drink in our cocktail bar, ESQ.
