Dual Director of Sales

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Dual Director of Sales for the Element and Aloft Arundel Mills at BWI, and we are actively looking to connect with the best and brightest talent the hospitality industry has to offer. In this role, you will provide strategic sales leadership for both properties, driving revenue growth, market share, and long-term client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

As the Dual Director of Sales, you will lead and manage all day-to-day sales activities for both the Element and Aloft Arundel Mills at BWI, with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of each property's sales objectives.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

  • Working with the hotel leadership teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans for both properties

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of internal and external promotions

  • Achieving personal booking goals and driving business transient and extended stay revenue for both hotels

  • Monitoring transient selling strategies and collaborating closely with revenue management to make strategic pricing and inventory decisions

  • Achieving proactive solicitation goals through prospecting, client outreach, and networking

  • Executing and supporting the operational aspects of booked business (generating proposals, contracts, and client correspondence)

  • Analyzing market trends and implementing strategies to achieve each property's financial goals

  • Interacting with guests and clients to obtain feedback and reviewing guest satisfaction results to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Demonstrating leadership in guest hospitality and exemplifying outstanding customer service

  • Creating a positive example for guest relations and team engagement

  • Developing and managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including brand partners, corporate accounts, and local organizations

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated hospitality sales leader with strong leadership abilities, a proven sales track record, and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to establish rapport with both new and existing clients.

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)

  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills

  • Proven prospecting, lead generation, and closing abilities

  • Experience managing sales strategies across multiple properties or markets preferred

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
