Experince in Data Engineering and Aftermarket Solutions within the European transportation sector, including aerospace, rail, automotive, and industrial.
The position requires extensive industry knowledge and technical expertise to drive business growth and develop customer-centric technology propositions, with following mandatory expertise areas:
- Technology appreciation: Data Engineering, AI, Cloud
- Domain knowledge: Aftermarket business, Engineering process, Manufacturing process
- Industry exposure: Aero, Rail, Auto, Industrial
Leadership and Industry Expertise: The role demands a Technology Leader with over 15 years of experience, deep domain knowledge in aftermarket business, engineering, and manufacturing processes, and a proven ability to navigate complex customer organizations to engage key decision-makers effectively.
Technical and Strategic Responsibilities: The leader must leverage data engineering, AI/ML, digital, and cloud technologies to create custom solutions aligned with customer needs, lead sales and account teams, and proactively organize technology workshops to build consultative roadmaps and long-term business impact.
Collaboration and Market Awareness: The position works closely with sales and Account organization in the region and collaboration with global offer leaders, technology teams, and partnerships to develop compelling value propositions, maintain strong customer relationships based on business and technology insight, and stay updated on industry trends and competitor developments
Details of the role:
- The role is Director/Sr. Director position and a Quota carrying role with Order Intake and Pipeline as key objectives.
- The Technology Leaderwill be accountable to develop and lead compelling propositions and be the go-to-SPOC for the Sales and Account leaders in the region.
- Proactively drive technology days/workshops to understand customers' problems, consultatively build approaches, suggests roadmaps come up with solutions that create long term impacts to business.
- Shape engagements in collaboration with offer leaders and technology practice teams globally. Develop compelling value propositions with key stakeholders in the Technology group - Offer leaders, Technology practices, Partnerships and delivery teams.
- A consultative mindset to build trusted relationships with Customers R&D peer architect/SMEs/specialist based on a strong foundation of business and technology expertise and leverage them to gather insights
- Teaming: Collaborate to bring forth best of an ability to bring multiple teams together and motivate towards shared goals, focused on winning business
- Expertise and knowledge management: Staying ahead of the curve. Track industry products and technology trends and developments. Track competitor's product & technology developments
