Job: DT Teacher

School: Secondary Academy, Lewisham, Southeast London

Salary: Enhanced MPS/UPS £38,766 - £60,092 per annum (inner London)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

Start date: September 2025

Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary academy looking for a Design Technology Teacher. The school is based in Lewisham, Southeast London, and they are part of a respected medium size Multi-Academy Trust.

We are looking for an innovative and creative individual who can inspire students on KS3 and grow the DT offering to KS4 and KS5. The school has excellent facilities and DT machinery.

    • Knowledge, skills and experience required:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS)
  • Good honours degree in a Design and Technology subject
  • Experience teaching your subject at KS3 and KS4 and a good knowledge of A levels
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with an excellent track record of progress and results
  • Proven track record of raising educational standards and achievement
  • Understanding how to analyse and use data effectively
