We help tangata to achieve their driver licence - want to join our Y Drive team?
DRIVING INSTRUCTOR/EDUCATOR based in Timaru.
We deliver driver licence support and driving instruction in Oamaru, Timaru, Ashburton and Christchurch.
Due to ongoing demand and expansion of our Y Drive Driving School service in South Canterbury, we are looking to recruit a new Driving Instructor and Educator, either on a full time basis.
If you hold a current Full Class 1 Driver Licence and a current Instructor's ("I") endorsement or if you are prepared to study to gain this qualification. You must currently hold your full licence.

Get in touch if you
- are a qualified Class 1 driving instructor and/or Testing Office and hold a current full New Zealand driver licence.
- are a "people person", with a positive energy, passion, and intrinsic desire to empower and support people to achieve their Class 1 learner, restricted and/or full driver's licence.
- or you are a fully licenced class one driver who is prepared to study towards your I endorsement with the backing of the Y
- are prepared to build strong relationships with both our clients and local stakeholders
- are confident, resourceful, optimistic, and ready to meet any challenge
- are highly organised, with strong computer skills
- have common sense, resiliency, empathy, a sense of humour and ability to use initiative

- can uphold the core values of the Y: Honesty, Caring, Responsibility and Respect
- Be prepared to be based in our awesome Timaru office servicing our South Canterbury clients
