Hours: Up to 10 hours per day

Gap Personnel are currently recruiting Drivers Mates / Porters to work in collaboration with one of our prestigious clients based in Swindon.
This is a physically active, customer facing role supporting delivery drivers with the delivery of high value goods to residential and commercial customers. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing a premium white glove delivery service, ensuring every customer receives a professional, courteous, and seamless experience from delivery through to placement within the customer's property.

The Role- Assisting drivers with multi drop deliveries.
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
- Carrying products into customers' homes and businesses.
- Ensuring goods are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
- Providing a high standard of white glove delivery service.
- Delivering outstanding customer service at every interaction.
- Helping position items as directed by customers.
- Maintaining a professional image and representing the business positively.
- Following all health & safety procedures and manual handling guidelines.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A professional and friendly attitude.
- Good physical fitness, as heavy lifting and manual handling will be required.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a two person delivery team.
- Applicants must be aged 21 or over due to insurance requirements.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential due to the location of the site and the early 6:00am start times.
- Previous experience in delivery, removals, porter, warehouse, or logistics roles is beneficial but not essential.
- Competitive pay of £13.60 per hour.
- Monday to Friday working pattern.
- 6:00am starts with shifts of up to 10 hours.
