Job Description
Position

Driver Valetor - Shannon Airport. Reports to the Branch Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and prep vehicles for rental.
  • Drive vehicles to and from designated locations, keeping accurate logs on the company app.
  • Perform pre and post rental inspections to ensure vehicles meet company standards for cleanliness and safety.
  • Audit the quality of vehicles both inside and outside the vehicle.
  • Install or remove trackers and activate or deactivate them as required.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and prioritise tasks.
  • Carry out safety and maintenance checks on vehicles.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Take responsibility for own health and safety and that of other colleagues.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanour at all times, representing the company positively.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as directed by management.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Full Clean B driving licence held for at least 2 years.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • 40 hour working week, Monday to Sunday.
  • Physical ability to bend, lift and stand for extended periods.
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong ability to multi task and manage pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal.
  • Mechanical knowledge a plus (e.g., checking oil, tyres, etc.).
