Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated Driver/Receptionist for our Urgent Treatment Centre in Morecambe.

Pay: Standard rate is £13.00 per hour. Additional 30% on Saturdays up to midnight and 60% on Sundays.

Accountable To: Operational Specialist

Main duties
  • Provide a professional and high quality driving service for the GP Out of Hours Service.
  • Provide a high quality reception service at the Primary Care Reception.
  • Always follow strict procedures and protocols.
Day to day responsibilities
  • Complete stock takes of medical equipment when necessary.
  • Use the Patient Record system (experience with Adastra is an advantage).
  • Complete routine administration checks when working overnight.
  • Ensure full patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Undertake all relevant training required for the post.
  • Be flexible in the roles undertaken according to business needs.
  • Be available especially for overnight shifts, but flexible to work during the day when required.
  • Handle drug stock and replenish when used.
  • Undertake vehicle checks and report any problems.
  • Maintain and attend all mandatory training.
Shift Pattern
  • Week 1: Saturday 23 00 - driver (8.25 hrs)
  • Week 2: Schedule TBD
  • Week 3: Friday 14 00 and 19 00 - reception (8.5 hrs); Saturday 23 00 - driver (8.25 hrs); Saturday 18 00 - reception (6 hrs)
  • Week 4: Schedule TBD

Qualifications
  • A full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Over 25 years of age for driving company vehicles.
