GTR Driver Manager - Bedford Driver Depot

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a designated group of drivers to deliver a high performing workforce in line with GTR's standards for safety, performance, and customer service.
• Conduct individual performance reviews, briefings, welfare checks, and handle disciplinary, grievance, and poor performance matters.
• Implement customer service standards that elevate the professionalism of drivers and enhance the on board experience for customers.
• Utilise attendance procedures and improve performance through fair and transparent disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Promote a people focused management style that boosts employee engagement and results.

Qualifications

• Strong people leadership skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining professional relationships with Trade Union Representatives.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
