Job Description
Driver Labourer - Join a Busy Planned Works Team
We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver Labourer to support the delivery of planned works projects by ensuring materials, equipment, and waste are managed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
️ Deliver materials to sites on schedule, ensuring trades have everything they need to complete works on time
️ Receive and organise deliveries within storage facilities
️ Check delivery notes and report any shortages or damages
️ Collect and dispose of site waste, including asbestos where required and authorised
️ Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out routine checks
️ Support site trades and project teams as needed
️ Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety and CDM regulations
What We're Looking For:
• Experience carrying out multi-drop deliveries across a wide geographical area
• Full UK Driving Licence with experience driving large wheelbase vehicles
• Ability to manage paperwork and verify delivery documentation accurately
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Experience working within a construction, maintenance, or planned works environment
• Strong teamwork and customer service skills
This is a varied role combining driving, logistics, site support, and customer service. Ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move, working as part of a team, and making sure projects run smoothly.
