A permanent Drill Shop Factory Operative position is available in Tewkesbury with Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial, offering a salary of £29,000 to £29,172 per annum. The role involves weekly rotating shifts (06:00-14:30 and 14:00-22:30) with a 20% shift allowance. Full training is provided, so prior drilling or machine-setting experience is unnecessary. Role and Responsibilities- Responsibilities include operating machinery, handling materials, and maintaining quality standards.
- Working within the Drill Shop department, you will be trained to operate specialist manufacturing equipment used in the production process.
- You will support production activities, carry out quality checks and ensure products are manufactured to the required standards.

- Operate specialist drilling machinery following full training
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
- Monitor machinery and production processes
- Carry out quality inspections on finished products
- Follow production instructions and work schedules accurately
- Record production data and maintain manufacturing records
- Ensure products meet quality and customer specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
- Follow all health and safety procedures
- Support other production departments when required
