About the RoleAs a Door Supervisor, you're much more than someone standing on the door. You are the face of safety, the first impression customers receive, and a key part of creating a positive experience for everyone who visits the venue.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining a visible and approachable presence at venue entrances and throughout premises
- Engaging positively with customers while supporting venue staff
- Maintaining a professional appearance and conduct that reflects both the venue and Professional Security brand
- Working closely with venue management to ensure smooth operations during busy trading periods
- Identifying and addressing potential issues early to prevent escalationEnforcing venue policies including age verification, dress codes, and intoxication policies
- Managing incidents calmly and professionally while prioritising customer safety
- Completing incident reports and documentation when required
- Supporting emergency procedures and assisting with safe venue evacuations if necessary
We're looking for reliable and professional individuals who thrive in hospitality environments and understand the importance of customer service alongside security.
Requirements include:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- Ability to pass BS7858 security screening
- Previous experience in security, hospitality or customer-facing roles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Calm, confident, and professional attitude
- Strong teamwork and reliability
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and late-night shifts
- Reliable transport to and from assigned venues
