We are looking for a Donor Testing Support Coordinator/Verification Typing Support Coordinator to join our Verification Typing team.

Title:Donor Testing Support Coordinator/Verification Typing Support Coordinator

Salary: £26,997 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 35 per week (standard Anthony Nolan working hours)

Location:Hybrid, withhead office in Hampstead, London

This role sits in the Verification Typing Team, within the Donor and Transplantation Services division. You will support the team and be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks including but not limited to:

• Process new verification typing requests for Anthony Nolan donors
• Report results to UK & International registries and transplant centres.
• Contact/update donors by phone/text/e-mail to assess availability and medical eligibility, as and when required.
• Maintain and accurately update our databases and deal with sensitive information in adherence to GDPR guidelines.
• Handle incoming & outgoing blood samples and be willing to be vaccinated for Hepatitis B.
• Prepare and pack blood sample kits to send to potential donors.
