Donkey Welfare Vet Intern: Hospital & Field

An international animal welfare organization is seeking Intern Veterinary Surgeons for full-time, 12-month, fixed-term contracts. The role includes an initial 6 months in a veterinary hospital focusing on in-patient care and diagnostic imaging, followed by 6 months ambulatory practice across Devon and Dorset, caring for the sanctuary's 2,700 donkeys. Ideal candidates are recent veterinary graduates with a passion for donkey welfare, and an interest in teaching and herd health. Positions start in September 2026 and March 2027.
