DOMI Manager (Domiciliary Optical Service Lead)

Field-Based Role Full-Time Competitive Package (DOE)

We're working with a growing domiciliary optical provider who are looking for an experienced DOMI Manager to take full ownership of their field-based service.

This is a key leadership role for someone who understands domiciliary optics inside out - ideally a trained OA with strong field experience - and is now ready to step up and run the service operationally, clinically, and logistically on a day-to-day basis.

This isn't just a dispensing role. This is full-service ownership.

The Role - Full Operational Ownership

Diary & Logistics Management

You will be responsible for planning and controlling your own diary to ensure maximum efficiency and service coverage, including:

Planning daily visits and managing your own schedule Grouping locations to optimise travel routes and time Factoring in travel time and clinic flow Ensuring diaries are fully utilised and clinically efficient Taking ownership of day-to-day field logistics This is a highly organised, structured role where efficiency directly impacts service success.

Care Home & Relationship Management

A major part of the role is building and maintaining strong relationships within the care sector.

You will:

Develop and maintain relationships with care home managers and staff Act as the key point of contact for allocated homes Ensure the service remains the preferred provider Maintain regular communication and professional credibility Strengthen long-term partnerships across your patch This is a relationship-led role where trust and consistency are essential.

End-to-End Service Ownership

You will effectively run the operational side of the domiciliary service, including:

Managing bed lists and patient coordination NHS administration and compliance (PCSE / PVN processes) Coordinating equipment and clinical logistics Overseeing delivery and service flow Supporting payment chasing and basic financial admin Ensuring smooth coordination between clinical and admin teams What Makes This Role Different

This is a fully autonomous, leadership-level field role where you are trusted to run the service - not just deliver it.

You will be responsible for:

Operational efficiency Relationship management Service delivery standards Day-to-day decision making in the field It is effectively running a core part of the business independently.

What We're Looking For

Experienced Optical Assistant (OA) within domiciliary optics (preferable) Strong understanding of domiciliary workflows and care home environments Confident managing diaries, logistics, and field operations Excellent relationship-building and communication skills Highly organised, self-motivated, and reliable Experience stepping into leadership or supervisory responsibilities Why Apply?
