Job Description
Cleaning Supervisor - Royal Stoke Hospital

Job Details
  • Hours: 37.5 hours / Any 5 days out of 7
  • Shift Times: 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00
  • Pay: £14.64 per hour
  • Uniform Provided / Access to Blue Light Card / Sodexo Benefits
  • Holiday: 20 days per year plus Bank Holidays
  • Location: Royal Stoke Hospital
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated cleaning team, coordinating daily tasks and activities.
  • Plan and oversee cleaning operations to maintain a sterile and safe environment, including desks, walls, ceilings, vents, blinds, and other surfaces.
  • Ensure patient rooms, communal areas, restrooms, and hospital wards are kept to the highest hygiene standards.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for all employees across the facility.
  • Adhere to all company, client, and legal health & safety procedures, including COSHH, hygiene, cleanliness, and fire safety.
  • Support onboarding, training, and development of cleaning staff to build a high performing team.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role, ideally within cleaning or facilities management.
  • Physical ability to carry out manual aspects of the role.
  • A strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene.
  • Professional integrity, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
