Main duties of the job
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Deliver exceptional customer care with courtesy, efficiency, and a commitment to a positive patient experience.
  • Provide a high-quality cleaning service in line with Trust policies and the National Standards of Cleanliness 2025.
  • Actively contribute to raising standards and improving service delivery.
  • Uphold Infection Control Policies and consistently demonstrate behaviours aligned with Trust Values, helping to minimise healthcare-associated risks.

Person Specification Education/Qualifications
  • GCSE English or equivalent
Experience
  • Working within a cleaning team, dealing with waste, smells, bodily excretions and dirt.
  • Previous experience of working within domestic services, other hotel services or health care departments.
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
