Domestic Assistant

Responsibilities

• Perform deep cleaning, terminal cleans and routine tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising toilets/bathrooms and patient areas.
• Remove and dispose of different types of waste, including general, contaminated and waste from bins.
• Work directly under the supervision of a Dispatcher who oversees cleaning teams, allocates tasks, ensures standards are met, and responds to emergencies within an allocated time slot.
• Maintain good time management under pressure and undertake other duties to meet the operational requirements of the organisation in line with the Cleaning Service Plan.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with Hospital staff.
• May involve direct or indirect patient contact depending on the role and cleaning Blood and/or bodily fluid in public areas.
• Use chemicals to clean.

Compensation and Shift Times

The hourly rate is £16.70

Shift Availability

• Monday Friday: 3:30 pm - 10:00 pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Duration

This is a long term, ongoing position.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is required.
