Job Description

Main duties of the job

Working alongside and in collaboration with your colleagues in the domestic and laundry teams, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our residents' rooms and in all communal areas. You will be adaptable and approachable in nature, not only prioritising resident care always but actively promoting continual improvement of standards in all areas. This approach should reinforce the provision of a clean and healthy environment in which our residents are valued, respected, and retain their individualism and dignity. You will continually assess the domestic needs of all residents.

Job responsibilities
  • Work alongside domestic and laundry teams to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene of residents' rooms and communal areas.
  • Adapt and be approachable, prioritising resident care and promoting continual improvement across all areas.
  • Assess and meet the domestic needs of all residents.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures to deliver the highest standards, contributing to the fulfilment of residents' lives.
  • Show that your personal values align with our commitment to personalised excellence, community spirit, and compassionate care, and support vulnerable adults with their individual needs.
Requirements
  • Experience working in a similar environment.
  • A caring nature with the ability to give everyone a personal approach.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changes on short notice.
  • Strong work ethic with a solution based approach to problem solving.
  • Can work well under pressure without negatively impacting those around you.
  • Warm, approachable, and engaging persona.
