Domestic Assistant

Akari Care seeks a Domestic Assistant passionate about caring for the elderly and committed to maintaining a clean, healthy environment for residents. The role supports residents' dignity and promotes continuous improvement in cleanliness standards.

Job responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in residents' rooms and all communal areas.
• Collaborate closely with domestic and laundry teams to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Continuously assess and support the domestic needs of all residents.
• Promote and implement continual improvement of standards across all areas.
• Encourage a culture of respect, individuality, and dignity for residents.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures to deliver the highest standards of care.

Requirements

• Experience working in a similar environment.
• A caring nature with the ability to give a personal approach to everyone.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice.
• Strong work ethic with a solution-based approach to problem solving.
• Ability to work well under pressure without negatively impacting others.
• Warm, approachable, and engaging persona.
• Respect for all individuals, treating others as you would expect to be treated.
