We are currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant for an immediate start within a Day Centre in the Ballymoney area. This is a temporary, ongoing assignment, initially for a 3-month period, with the potential for extension.

Working Hours:

• 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Pay Rate: £12.51 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining rooms, offices, kitchens, and public areas within the day centre
• Ensuring high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and infection control
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
• Supporting catering activities, including basic food preparation and service
• Cleaning kitchen areas, equipment, and dining spaces
• Assisting with the serving of meals and refreshments
• Supporting a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for service users, visitors, and staff
• Working effectively as part of a team within a healthcare setting

• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Willingness to undergo an Access NI police check
