Distribution Manager - Plymouth

We're looking for an experienced Distribution Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our Plymouth depot. You'll oversee both warehouse and transport teams, ensuring products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time, every time.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the full end-to-end operation across warehouse and transport
• Coaching and developing senior leaders to support effective decision-making
• Delivering people plans and building a positive, engaged team culture
• Managing performance, costs, resources and service priorities in a busy logistics environment
• Driving continuous improvement across productivity, cost and operational stability
• Overseeing operational risk, safety, security and compliance standards
• Working constructively with union partners on change, wellbeing and workforce planning
• Collaborating with the wider logistics network to share best practice and support improvement initiatives

• Proven experience leading large operational teams within logistics or a similar high-volume environment
• Strong operational judgement with the ability to balance service, cost and people needs
• Experience turning operational plans into clear, actionable priorities for teams
