The Role

Global financial services organisation is seeking a Distributed Database Platform Engineer to manage and scale Snowflake, PostgreSQL and Greenplum platforms across a large-scale, hybrid AWS/Azure environment. You'll drive automation, modernisation, and optimisation of distributed data infrastructure.

Key Skills

  • Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Greenplum

  • AWS & Azure cloud platforms

  • Automation: Python, Terraform, Ansible

  • CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code

  • Performance tuning, HA/DR, query optimisation

  • Knowledge of data governance, security & compliance
