Salary: £40,000 to £65,000 plus bonus (depending on experience)

This is a great opportunity for a dispute resolution solicitor or legal executive to join a well-established, high-quality team in Leeds, with the backing of a supportive environment and the momentum of a growing, forward-thinking firm.
The caseload is mixed and will include both pre-litigation and litigated matters, with a strong focus on property litigation and professional negligence.
The OpportunityYou will handle a varied disputes caseload from inception to conclusion (with appropriate supervision), including:
- Pre-action strategy, drafting and negotiation
- Issuing and progressing claims through the court process
- Advising clients, taking instructions and managing expectations
- Managing your own files with accurate time recording and billing
- Supporting senior members of the team as needed
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive
- 0 to 5 years+ PQE (or equivalent experience) with an interest in litigation
- Interest and preferably experience in one or more of: litigation, professional negligence, property litigation
- Confident engaging directly with clients, taking instructions and providing advice
- Able to run matters from start to finish with good organisation and attention to detail
- Familiar with accurate time recording and billing
- Working knowledge of professional conduct rules relevant to your qualification
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach
- Experience of property litigation and/or professional negligence matters
- Experience handling a busy caseload with competing deadlines
- Salary of £40,000 to £65,000 plus a generous bonus scheme (depending on experience)
