Dispute Resolution Lawyer (Qualified/Non Qualified)

Due to continued growth in the department, we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time or part-time Lawyer (qualified or non qualified) to join our Dispute Resolution department, to be based at either our Shrewsbury or Ludlow office, depending on the candidate's preference.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated and advantageous individual with strong client care ethic, who enjoys engaging in business development. The ideal candidate will support the growth of the department and company and be rewarded by working as part of a friendly, supportive, approachable team of 6 Lawyers and a Trainee Solicitor, with opportunities to progress within the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

Ability to effectively manage your own caseload independently, and engage in business marketing and development to attract work into the department,

Advise clients on a variety of matters including Employment Law such as settlement agreements as well as, Tenant and Property disputes such as possession cases and general Civil and Commercial Litigation,

Drafting legal documentation whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA regulations,

Providing excellent client care and high-quality legal advice in line with PCB Solicitors standards,

Build strong client relationships with existing and prospective clients.

Highly organised with precise attention to detail,

Experience with MS office applications such as Outlook and Word required,

Be able to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times,

Proven verbal and written internal and external communication skills,

Maintain your continuing professional development requirements and stay up to date on relevant changes in Employment and Dispute Resolution,

Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm,

Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with others,

Have a positive approach to tasks and a strong work ethic.

Experience:

For Lawyers, a minimum of 2 years+ post qualification experience (PQE) required,

If non-qualified, a minimum of 2 years fee earning experience required,

Previous experience in Dispute Resolution is essential,

Previous experience in Employment Law is preferable.

Ludlow or Shrewsbury: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
