We are looking for a part-time dispenser (18 hours per week) on a temporary basis for six months. The dispensary is within the GP practice and serves approximately 1000 patients. You would be part of a small team of dispensers, pharmacists and pharmacy technician.
Main duties of the job- Accurately dispense prescriptions in line with legal and practice requirements
- Process repeat prescriptions and manage medication queries
- Provide excellent patient service at the dispensary counter
- Maintain stock control and ensure proper storage of medicines
- Work closely with GPs, nurses, and the wider practice team
The dispensary team forms part of the larger organisation at St. Andrew's Medical Practice. We are a large practice of 15800 patients and a multi-disciplinary team of GPs, ANPs, Paramedics, Nurses, Physiotherapist, Health Care Assistants, Dispensers and Admin. We occupy a modern, purpose built surgery in the centre of the town.

About You- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) essential
- Experience working in a pharmacy or GP dispensary
- Excellent attention to detail and IT skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- NVQ2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services
