Director/Senior Director of Communications, Global Conglomerate

A rare in house opportunity for a senior communications professional to join one of the world's most ambitious and fast moving private conglomerates at a pivotal moment in its global expansion.

This organisation has deep roots in real estate and infrastructure, but has in recent years made headline grabbing moves into technology and AI - with $20 billion dollar investments that have repositioned it as a serious player in the data centre and emerging tech space. With operations and recent acquisitions spanning the US, Europe, and Asia, this is a business that thinks and operates at genuine global scale, with the ambition and capital to match.

Director/Senior Director of Communications

Reporting into the SVP, this position is the most senior communications hire in London and will be responsible for driving the organisation's corporate communications strategy internationally. The focus is squarely on profile - building the CEO's presence and reputation with media, and ensuring the business is consistently and accurately represented in the press as it enters new markets and sectors.

This is a media first role. You'll be managing relationships with tier one journalists, shaping narratives around major business milestones, and handling the complexity that comes with a fast growing, high profile organisation operating across multiple geographies and industries simultaneously.

What they're looking for in the Communications Role

• Senior communications professional at Director level, agency or in house
• Strong media relations track record - you know how to get names in the right places
• Corporate comms or corporate affairs background a must, with big tech experience a plus
• Comfortable operating in a fast paced, entrepreneurial, founder led culture
• International exposure an advantage; experience across US and European markets particularly relevant given current expansion priorities
• Proven and deep experience in CEO or executive profiling
• Experience in a founder led environment is ideal
