About this job

To provide a high quality and comprehensive Personal Assistant service to the Adult Community Services Directorate Management Team.

To deal with staff, managers, clinicians and external organisations in a professional and courteous manner, promoting a professional and efficient interface on behalf of the Adult Community Services Directorate.

To provide clerical support and maintain records.

To carry out administrative tasks.

To work to short deadlines whilst responding to changing priorities.

To work as part of a team to ensure an efficient and effective service is provided.

The post-holder will be accountable for their own actions and to manage their own workload.

The post-holder is expected to work flexibly and to multi-task to ensure high quality personal assistance and administrative support is provided at all times.

An enthusiastic and experienced Personal Assistant will join the Adult Community Services Directorate, providing high quality administrative and organisational support to the Senior Management Team.

This key role sits at the centre of a busy, diverse service, supporting leaders committed to delivering excellent patient care and advancing the Trust's ambition for digitally enabled care closer to home.

The successful candidate will deliver a comprehensive and efficient PA service to the Group Management Team.

This fast paced role requires exceptional organisational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work proactively within broad procedural guidelines.

You will support the delivery of the Trust Strategy by ensuring administrative processes, communication pathways and governance arrangements run smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Diary coordination, preparing high quality documentation, managing enquiries and ensuring information is accurate, timely and accessible.
  • Supporting governance processes, maintaining staff records, coordinating sickness reporting, producing reports and matrices.
  • Assisting with project work delegated by the Service Support Manager and Senior Management Team.
  • Fostering a culture aligned with Trust Values by modelling professionalism, kindness, inclusivity and continuous improvement.
