SPEED & SPIRIT is what we look for in our candidates, defined by some simple values that inspire us to BE DRIVEN in our performance, BE VIBRANT in our sporting legacy, BE TOGETHER in our team spirit, and to let our individual talent and experience shine.
YOUR MISSIONAs Director Technology Infrastructure EMEA, you will be the driving force behind Technology Infrastructure excellence across all of PUMA's EMEA locations. You will lead and inspire our EMEA Local IT teams, ensure global standards are brought to life at the local level, and act as the critical link between our Global Technology Engineering, Operations, and Support functions and the people on the ground in our EMEA markets. This is a strategic leadership role with real operational accountability. You will shape how IT services are delivered across a diverse region, eliminate complexity where it doesn't add value, and build a team and culture that local employees trust and global leadership can rely on.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Region.
- Own the full people agenda for Tech Infrastructure & Service Delivery across EMEA - hiring, developing, engaging, and retaining local IT talent across all EMEA sites.
- Set the operational direction for Tech Infrastructure & Service Delivery across EMEA, aligning local teams to global strategy and standards.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation and executive representation for Tech Infrastructure & Service Delivery matters across the EMEA markets.
- Be the Bridge: translate global Tech Infrastructure platform standard, policies, and roadmaps into actionable plans that EMEA local teams can execute.
- Represent EMEA in global IT planning, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives.
- Build productive, trust based relationships with global Engineering and Operations peers.
- Deliver with Discipline: maintain operational oversight of local infrastructure - networks, endpoints, meeting room technology, and on site infrastructure across EMEA markets.
- Drive the systematic reduction of locally grown IT solutions in favor of globally standardized platforms.
- Guide and support local IT budget owners across EMEA through planning and forecasting cycles; consolidate regional budget data and drive cost efficiency across locations.
- Partner with the Business: build strong relationships with EMEA business stakeholders and country level management.
- Ensure IT is perceived as a reliable, enabling, and forward looking partner in every EMEA market.
- 10+ years of IT experience with a minimum of 4 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing IT operations across multiple countries or sites within a multinational environment.
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (networks, workplace technology, endpoints, cloud services) and IT service delivery and management.
- Demonstrated experience bridging global and local IT - ideally in a regional IT director type of function.
- Strong influencing skills - you are equally effective with IT engineers, country managers, and global executives.
- Track record of successfully steering teams toward standardization.
- Eye for good IT service from the end user's perspective, not just the infrastructure team.
- People first approach to team leadership - you develop IT talent, you don't just manage capacity.
- Fluency in English; German is a significant advantage.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA locations (approx. %).
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, or lifestyle/fashion industry is a plus.
