Director, Portfolio Optimisation in Energy Markets

SSE plc is seeking a Head of Portfolio Optimisation to shape and lead a new function within SSE Energy Markets. The role requires steering portfolio strategy across power, gas and carbon markets, collaborating with Trading, Risk, Analytics and Economics to maximise value while advancing SSE's net zero ambitions.

You will manage a cross-disciplinary team, drive governance, and ensure safe, ethical decision-making with strong stakeholder engagement and commercial acumen.
